Palacial Master Bath

The master suite opens off a balcony that overlooks the great room. The spacious master bedroom opens onto an upper-level covered deck, with steps up to the rooftop Captain's Walk (sky deck). From this lofty perch you have excellent views over the island, from the Gulf of Mexico to the bay, sunsets and sunrises. It's also a great place to star gaze on a calm, Captiva evening.

The palatial master bathroom may remind you of the great Roman baths in England, with the arches and columns resembling ancient stone. It features a generous whirlpool tub beneath a picture window. There is also a large walk-in shower, tiled with glass doors. The double-sink vanity is decked with mirrors on three sides. Every convenience is provided - even a wall phone next to the toilet. Tasteful lighting puts the perfect finishing touch on the bath.

The main level at Ca d'Mare has two guest bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Bedroom 2 (in the northwest corner) has a queen bed and private entrance to its guest bathroom (also accessible from the hallway).

Bedroom 3 (in the southwest corner) has two twin beds. Of course, each bedroom has a full closet. And the main-level laundry room is just down the hallway.

On the ground floor (pool level) is a complete private apartment. The apartment has its own living room, bedroom, den with TV and couch (NOT a functioning sleep sofa), bright full kitchen, full bath (below left) and a small laundry room with washer/dryer (right). This is ideal living space for guests who prefer a single level, or as a separate quarters for extended family or a care giver.
