Calypso Captiva is located on quiet and private Laika Lane, just steps from the Gulf of Mexico beach. The grounds are masterfully landscaped with natural tropical plants and trees. A large driveway and three garage bays provide plenty of vehicle parking.

Porches and Sun Decks

There are three comfortably furnished outside areas for your enjoyment, all fully screened: the pool sun deck, the shaded lower-level deck (above), and the upper level porch. From the livingroom, two sets of French doors open onto the large upper level screened porch, letting in the fresh breezes and gentle sigh of palm fronds. The porch makes a fine place to retreat from the midday sun, enjoy the company of friends and family under the canopy of the tropical forest, or partake of fine outdoor dining Captiva style.

The kitchen is simply fabulous: fully equipped, of course, including a Jennaire range and all types of serving and preparation items. Whether or not cooking is your passion, this kitchen is perfectly designed for creating anything from snacks to a smorgasbord in an efficient and enjoyable manner. The adjacent dining area seats four, with four more seats at the breakfast bar. For barbeque treats, an outdoor gas grill is provided.

The Living Room

Like its beautiful natural surroundings, Calypso Captiva is so enjoyable. Here is the grand living room, with its loft ceiling, fireplace and many new furnishings. The exquisite hardwood floors and high ceilings give an air of elegance not commonly found in a beach house.

Three Bedrooms and Three Baths

Calypso Captiva sleeps 6 people in comfort. Two bedrooms have queen beds and a third has twin beds, plus there is a queen sleeper in the living room. There are three bathrooms, and the master bath includes a whirlpool jacuzzi tub (below right).
