From here it's a quick trip (300 yards) to the warm Gulf of Mexico sands - beach lovers will find the proximity really convenient. Guests can walk out onto the beach anytime, without the need to organize an expedition. Then pop back to the house anytime for more sunblock, drink refills, or a snack.

The kitchen is a masterpiece with premium counter tops, appliances, cabinets, and a large breakfast bar. The huge window opens onto the pool-side bar (seats 4) - perfect for indoor/outdoor dining. The separate laundry room with full-size washer/dryer makes life easy during a long stay on Captiva. The living room and master bedroom suite both open onto the pool deck, surrounded by tropical plantings. Even the front yard is carefully landscaped with palm trees, flowers and beautiful tropical foliage.
