Holley House is one of the southernmost houses on Captiva.
This is the "Gold Coast" section of Captiva Island, famous for its secluded luxury homes and fantastic tropical surroundings.
Down here the island is narrow: you live right on the bay, and beach access is directly across the street.
Your view encompasses a broad sweep of uninhabited, northern Sanibel Island, and the broad channel leading out to Pine Island Sound and the Intracoastal Waterway.
There are very few visual clues that you haven't landed on your very own tropical island!
Your visit begins with the blue and white Holley House sign (above) on Captiva Drive, guiding you into the landscaped grounds (more than an acre).
The gently curving driveway -- just long enough for seclusion -- leads you past palms and sea grapes to a circular drive with plenty of parking including shaded areas.
The tan and yellow house just glows in the warm sunlight.
Step inside to the spacious and newly renovated living and dining rooms.
From the round tower (a unique screened porch), look out on the large private pool, and beyond to a private sunning patio and the boat dock.
Take advantage of the Holley House water front location!
Enjoy the ever-changing tides, and fish from your private boat dock.
Rent some kayaks by the day or by the week, and explore the mangrove channels.
(Note that the owner's kayaks are not available for use by guests.)
Or use the dock as your home base for motorboating Captiva, Sanibel and the many other nearby islands.
And do doubt you'll want to spend a lot of time on the awesome white-sand beach and the calm warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico.
Holley House has deeded beach access directly across Captiva Drive.

Upstairs there are two full baths (one in the master bedroom suite).
Downstairs is a half bath (photo left).
The kitchen is bright and open, and the appliances modern.
Even with this nice interior, the three TVs, and wireless Internet, it's likely that you won't be spending a lot of time indoors.
There's so much to draw you outside: the lovely pool, fascinating bay right out back, the sunny beach, fresh air and Captiva's famous weather.
