Sunset Captiva has a wide swath of Gulf beach (top photo), famous for its white sand, pretty shells, warm water and abundant sunshine.
One of the largest pools on Captiva awaits you (right), surrounded by a comfortably-furnished sun patio, picnic area including gas barbeque grills, and cabana.
Other amenities include a boardwalk to the beach, nature walk to Chapel By The Sea, and covered parking.

Welcome!Welcome to Captiva and our family home in Sunset Captiva. We hope that you will really enjoy your experience here just as our family has in this home for the past 25 years. A number of us have made Captiva our "special place" for more than 50 years.
Recently we added a den with an office area, including a large desk, Dell computer, printer, telephone and fax, and high-speed Internet.
We rarely use a car to go anywhere here. You can walk to several good restaurants, stores, and activities. Immediately across the street is Jensen's Twin Palm Marina, where you can rent 18 foot powerboats for half or full day. The outlying islands to the north (North Captiva and Caya Costa) are wonderful to visit. On each, you can tie your boat up to a dock on the bay side of the island, walk across a path and enjoy your day or afternoon of wandering on virtually deserted beaches. Stop by Barnacle Phil's on North Captive or the unique inn on Cabbage Key for a great lunch. Jensen's guides can take you sightseeing, fishing or shelling. There is very good fishing in the area. Fishing can be as simple as trying your luck on our dock or hiring a guide. Excellent sea kayaking and catamaran sailing are available on either a rental or guided basis only a five minute walk away. You can also rent bicycles, golf carts, and other fun at Jim's Rentals. We provide beach chairs and umbrellas for your enjoyment on our beautiful beach.
