Tuscany is a showcase vacation house that opened in 2004 on Captiva Island. It's the ultimate in luxurious living, yet the large home is exquisitely comfortable. Tuscany has a premium location in the central Captiva Village area - so convenient to the beach, restaurants, activities and shopping. The heated, private pool features an in-ground spa with waterfall into the main pool, surrounded by your own patio and balconies, and walled for complete privacy. Across the courtyard is the separate guest house, with large bedroom suites on both levels, and a professional barbeque and outdoor bar area on the second floor. Back in the main house, the kitchen is spacious and appropriately equipped for such a grand house, then topped off with beautiful and ergonomic lighting. From the custom granite countertops to the five-burner gas stove, everything is here and everything is top notch. Serve your delicacies in the formal dining room surrounded by polished columns and floor-to-ceiling drapes, or relax with outdoor dining on one of the numerous balconies and patios. Downstairs you'll find one of the biggest game rooms in a private home. This one is equipped with table tennis (ping pong) and air hockey, and plenty of room for kids to enjoy other activities. The game room opens directly onto the courtyard. Also downstairs are two bedrooms and two bathrooms, plus elevator access and the two-car garage. |

Tuscany's master bedroom suite is suitable for royalty, but also perfect for a nice tropical vacation. Accessed by a wide staircase or the elevator, the top floor of the house is dedicated to the master. Of course there is the grand bedroom chamber with four-post king bed, and a luxurious bathroom en-suite. There is also a lovely south-facing sitting area with glass wall but complete privacy. Just beyond is the private balcony overlooking the Captiva domain known as Tuscany. |
