The central island is a thin neck of land connecting the lower island to the Village area. On it are some exquisite private homes (some available for rent) plus a few establishments such as the small marina in the lower part of the photo. Here quiet Captiva Drive glides alongside the Gulf of Mexico with its calm waters, pristine beach, rare shells, sea birds and priceless sunsets.
